VDJ Software | DEX 3.6 Is Ready For Download
The public release of DEX 3.6 VDJ mixing software is now available for download.
The latest iteration of our top solution for professional DJs that mix all types of media is ready for download.
We popped the hood and tinkered with a few core components, such as the refactoring of the ‘loading engine’. This allows DEX 3.6 to support more audio, video and karaoke file variations, and loading tracks to the decks has been sped up as well. Many underlying performance improvements have been made to ensure more responsiveness while mixing than ever before.
Freshly added in DEX 3.6 is ‘video link‘ — providing the ability to automatically load and play video clips and VJ loops when mixing only audio tracks. ‘Video Link’ benefits DJs that wish to transition seamlessly from mixing music videos to audio tracks, while still providing visuals on the mixed output display for the audience.
DEX 3.6 includes the latest Pulselocker music subscription service SDK, providing various upgrades in performance and search. Search-as-you-type is now enabled when searching Pulselocker’s massive 44 million track library, and results display quicker than in previous versions. Various bugs were fixed in the Pulselocker SDK, including a couple reported errors when syncing tracks to your local hard drive for offline use.
We’ve swatted a few annoying bugs as well, including a memory issue present when playing music videos for long periods of time in succession and an issue prevented certain supported file types from loading into the decks. Some users were also reporting the inability to re-set the auto-out cue point for automix, which has also been addressed in DEX 3.6.

Downloaded this update and now can’t get anything to play
Hello Keith,
This would be one of two things – one, in options under the audio tab the incorrect output device is selected (most likely the case). Or Two, you have dead links in your library (if you can’t even LOAD a track to the deck that would be a bad/dead link to the physical file so the path has changed since they previously worked).
Let us know! Thanks
Cual es la configuración adecuada de la PC para intalar el software y que funcione aprovechando toda su capacidad de trabajo, me refiero a la ram, el procesador, tarjeta gráfica, entre otros. Gracias.

Does this update solve an issue I have of moving from history to other folders and back to history, when I go back to history it brings me to the beginning instead of where I left off at? It should remember where you left off when bouncing around from folder to folder instead of starting at the beginning.
Hello,
I don’t think that was ever reported as an ‘issue” per say – as when you jump from any list to list it returns to the top. It’s a good feature/change suggestion however – and I suggest (if you haven’t already) putting in into the wishlist forum for DEX 3 HERE
I can see how this would be useful for some, indeed. So please place the request in the wishlist forum to share with the DEX 3 user community. Thanks!
How do I get Dex 3 update to my laptop which has no email?
If you download the free 3.6 update from the support page you do not need to access email. Download it from this page and install it directly – not need to access email.
