DJ Event Planner Releases ” UK Chart: 200 Most Requested Songs Of 2014″
A few days back we posted DJ Intelligence’s compiled list of the USA Mobile DJ top request songs of 2014, today we take a look at the UK version posted by DJ Event Planner.
What’s interesting is while there are a couple tracks both countries include at the top of their list (Pharrell Williams – “Happy” and Journey – “Don’t Stop Believin’”), that’s where the similar requests end (at least in the top 10). It’s clear the UK market’s party-goers have a different taste in tunes, which doesn’t come as a surprise.
Regardless of if you’re in the US or the UK, as a Mobile DJ you’ll want to make sure these songs are loading into your DJ software browser.
DJ Event Planner compiled this list based on over 2 million song requests made using the DJ Event Planner song request system. That’s a big sample size, so it’s hard to question it’s accuracy. Here’s the top 10 most requested songs in the UK for the year 2014:
