Announcing Our Sponsorship Of “The Dream Unfinished” Concert
When we find synergy between community outreach programs and music, we try to get involved.
PCDJ has previously sponsored community programs organized by Beats, Rhyme And Relief – a non-profit organization utilizing the arts to raise awareness and support for worldwide humanitarian relief efforts.
In conjunction with Beats, Rhymes and Relief we’re proud to announce our new sponsorship for “The Dream Unfinished“, a gathering of orchestral musicians, and nationally prominent artists and figures, who will join to promote solidarity between citizens and law enforcement.
With fiscal sponsorship from arts-and-humanitarian-aid organization Beats, Rhymes, & Relief, proceeds from “The Dream Unfinished” concert will go to the Center for Constitutional Rights, Justice League NYC, Music Kitchen-Food for the Soul, and the National Coalition of Law Enforcement Officers for Justice.
The concert will be held at Centennial Memorial Temple, located steps away from Union Square, and take place on July 17. With a pay-what-you-can ticket price, an orchestra comprised of musicians hailing from Broadway musicals to ensembles like the New York Philharmonic, and appearances by Broadway star Tanya Birl and activists like Vince Warren and Erica Garner, this will be the blockbuster classical music event and social action of the summer.
This event can only happen with not only PCDJ’s support, but yours. Your donations will:
- Sponsor students from Baltimore-based OrchKids, Community MusicWorks, UpBeat NYC, and other community-based music programs to perform in the concert.
- Contribute to the world premiere of a new classical music composition by acclaimed composer Jessie Montgomery.
- Support our beneficiary organizations in their ongoing work to promote peace in our communities.
