RED Mobile 3.5, a free upgrade for RED Mobile 3 customers, will be (UPDATE: RED Mobile 3.5 is now available HERE) available for download later this week and among other new additions, come equipped with a new skin and ‘Tablet Mode’.
Tablet Mode has been designed to take advanced of Intel 2in1 chips/laptops, so the RED Mobile 3.5 DJ software screen will automatically change/swap from default mode to Tablet Mode depending on the hardware screen configuration. DJs will also have a toggle button for laptops that are touch-screen based but do not utilize the Intel 2in1 chip technology.
Tablet mode features large platters with album art support, an X-Y pad for manipulating effects in real-time, touch-ready large buttons/sliders/knobs and a separate toggle screen for the track browser. Our developers have also created an ‘automatic toggle’ between the browser tab and player tab, so when browsing via a DJ controller RED Mobile 3.5 will display the browser but when a track is loaded RED Mobile 3 will display the DJ decks.
