Sound Surfing wiht Shani| Mobile Music Thursday with Jason Jones | #DJNTV

DJNTV’s (Disc Jockey News TV) Mobile Music Thursday with DJ Jason Jones features mobile DJs from around the country who are playing weddings, schools and bars to find out how and what they play and when they play it.  This week we feature Shani Barnett, DJ and General Manager of Mobile Music Interactive Entertainment out of Chicago Illinois.

Mobile Music Interactive Entertainment is long-time and consistently busy full-service production company, so they not only offer standard Mobile DJ services but the full gamut of party production; lighting, decor, the works.

In this segment Shani explains that often an event’s vibe can greatly differ from the client’s party goals as conveyed by the client in the pre-event meeting, and to go with the flow of the event rather than over-think things.  Gauge the audience and other factors when selecting music, such as the time of the event.   Don’t be afraid to try new things, and “sound surf” to find the event’s musical niche.
