Recording Your Video Mix With PCDJ DEX 3.2 (and above)

Our flagship DJ mixing software, PCDJ DEX 3, just received a few new features and updates last week with the launch of the 3.2 version.

The most notable changes are true 64bit Windows Support (Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1), support for Direct X 11 and the ability to record your video mix. This last item is what we’ll focus on today.

Video mixing is more popular than ever, and provides DJ mixing video a potential leg-up on the competition. The total multimedia experience can help you carve out a niche and receive referrals for gigs other DJs aren’t geared to handle. One way to help promote your video mixing abilities is to record a video mix and send to your client.

DEX 3.2 now makes this as easy as recording audio was in previous versions. With a click of a button you can capture your video mix set in either SD (standard definition) or HD (high definition) in real-time.
