New “What Can I Sing” Remote Request App is a Solid Option for DEX 3 and LYRX Users
A new singer/song remote request platform has hit the market and a few PCDJ users have taken notice. A DEX 3 user that hosts karaoke shows in the UK recently gave us the heads up on “What Can I Sing” so we reached out to them for the skinny on their singer and song request system.
So you are heading out for a night of Karaoke and you think to yourself “What Can I Sing?”. Whilst that is a great question, it is also the answer!
“What Can I Sing” is an on-demand App for Karaoke requests. The user interface allows patrons to find nearby venues via geo-location map and see the hours of operation for Karaoke in each venue. The App will allow patrons to view the host’s songbook and make requests. Patrons can include a key change request and also see a list of their requests. This list will show if the host has accepted or rejected the request. The Patron can also receive a notification to tell them it is their turn next.
The host interface receives the requests and allows the host to manage the order and send the notifications to the patrons. This will ELIMINATE the need for the host to supply and maintain songbooks, collect paper requests and refine them into order. Often, the writing on these paper requests can be hard to read especially in darker environments. The App will also solve this issue. Patrons will not need to go searching for a songbook or waiting for one to become available either. Hosts will have the ability to manage their songbooks, venue details, hours of operation and when requests will open, all online. Create your host account here
PCDJ users, particularly users of DEX 3 or LYRX, are already using this app as it makes the organisation of the requests easier and quicker. They (WCIS) are currently giving every host a free 6 month trial, plus if you set up your account fully and like their Facebook page, you will go into the draw to win an additional 12 months FREE. AND as a special offer to PCDJ users, once you are up and running, just send them a message to let them know you are a PCDJ user and you’ll go in the draw to win yet another 12 months FREE. You will need to be quick as this offer closes very soon.

Do you have any software for Mac computer – not iOS
The “What can I sing” platform is app based. The singers uses their phone to search your song book and the requests pop up on the karaoke hosts phone. So it’s an app-based product only, for iOS and Android. Our live performance software, DEX 3 and LYRX, are both for MAC.
I can only find LYRX For iOS not for Mac book computer
Can you please give me a link
LYRX is only available for macOS — it’s not an app, it’s a desktop program. It ONLY works on MAC and Windows (so it will run on your Macbook). This is the website where you can try it out: http://www.lyrxkaraoke.com
