macOS High Sierra Is Supported In DEX 3, DEX 3 RE And LYRX

If you’re a DEX 3, DEX 3 RE or LYRX user you can now “elevate” to macOS High Sierra.

macOS High Sierra dropped a couple days ago:

“New technologies at the heart of the system make your Mac more reliable, capable, and responsive — and lay the foundation for future innovations. macOS High Sierra also refines the features and apps you use every day. It’s macOS at its highest level yet.”

We’ve now tested our MAC-compatible DJ software and the LYRX karaoke software thoroughly across a few macOS High Sierra installations and have found no apparent issues.  In some cases, High Sierra has improved performance on a few of our DJ testing rigs.

However, there is a note of caution; we are unable to test all 90+ DEX 3 and DEX 3 RE supported DJ controllers to see how they perform on High Sierra. We suggest you check with the DJ controller manufacturer directly to confirm the unit is fully supported under the new macOS.

If you’re not a DJ controller user, opting to mix with a keyboard and mouse, than you can “elevate” to High Sierra with confidence immediately. If you’ve confirmed your DJ controller is also High Sierra compliant than please do the same.
