Version 1.1.3 of the KaraoQuest Singer/Song Request App for Karaoki is Now Available (Beta)
Version 1.1.3 of the KaraoQuest karaoke song request app for Karaoki is ready for beta testing (via TestFlight).
If you were assigned as a prior beta tester of KaraoQuest you will find version 1.1.3 ready for installation via the TestFlight app. Please install and test with the latest Karaoki version.
The new update builds on the changes and fixes made in the prior 1.1.1 release, with a few new tweaks and one important and fundamental change users of the FREE KaraoQuest app for Karaoki are going to really love…
No more in-app ads!
That’s right, while the KaraoQuest iOS app is still free of charge for Karaoki customers there will be no more (somewhat annoying) in-app ads. In prior public release ads used to run after a singer made a request via their phone (or request station as many karaoke hosts choose to use for KaraoQuest/Karaoki). That’s no more, making for a more seamless and professional experience for your singers.
KaraoQuest (for iOS) is ideal for setting up an old (or new, if you trust your singers won’t abuse it!) iPad as a remote request station for your karaoke singers. They can walk up, via and search your song book, and make requests that automatically pop up in Karaoki via local area network (no internet required!). Those requests then display in Karaoki so you, the operator, can accept with the touch of a single button. The requests are then sent directly to the singer rotation list – queued up and ready to play.
Here’s what’s new and fixed in KaraoQuest Beta Version 1.1.3 (Full release coming soon!)
New Features:
- Option to clear singer field when entering RequestScreen
- Ask for WiFi address when last access was from internet

Ryan – when is an android version going to be made available?!
KaraoQuest is developed by a Karaoki user independent of our development cycles. He has suggested he’d look into an Android release in the future, but that’s all the information I have right now.
The current base (1.1) will be the LAST single-platform version.
No new features, only fixes (1.1.x).
All of it is being ported to Android and will become version 1.2.
Hopefully releasing before summer !!!!
Thanks, Martin. That’s fantastic news – thanks for sharing!
This app looks amazing, I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but I can only seem to upload one case. Please help.
Yes, that’s currently how it works – you can only share on case at a time with the request app. Most Karaoki users only use one case for all their music – it’s only when you get up over 100,000 songs that you should really use another case.
