LYRX 1.9 is ready for download and includes new 32-bit audio engine and sample decks.
LYRX 1.9 is here, and it’s the best-sounding version ever! A true 32-bit audio engine means superior sound quality that you and your singers will enjoy.
Want to drop an applause sample or gong show sample at the end of a singer’s performance? You have 6 sample decks at your disposal. Load them up with any samples/jingles you wish and either trigger them with your mouse, or assign to keyboard shortcuts with ‘Learn’.
The new awesome additions aside, LYRX 1.9 includes a myriad of bug fixes and performance improvements, including better bulk downloading from the in-app Party Tyme Karaoke subscription.
As always, version 1.9 is a free update for LYRX customers. To update now, simply download and install with your existing version closed.

- The 2 included skins (interfaces) now have a brand-new Samples tab (with 6 samplers) – use for sound effects, jingles, etc
- Audio engine is now fully 32-bit audio (for comparison, CD’s play at 16-bit)

- NOTE: LYRX is 64-bit only moving forward (No more 32-bit releases)
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you receive this warning “setup_LYRX_1.19_mac.pkg can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. this software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information” when installing to macOS Catalina or above, please follow the steps on Apple’s website to install LYRX.
