Karaoke Software For MAC | LYRX 1.02 Is Now Available
LYRX Karaoke Software For MAC Has Just Been Updated To Version 1.02.
A new update for LYRX has just been posted for download. Existing LYRX users can download and install the free trial from the website HERE – which will overwrite and update your currently installed version to 1.02.
LYRX is MAC Karaoke Software, created with the same underlying code found in Digital 1 Audio’s flagship DEX 3 DJ mixing software. This is notable, as unlike most karaoke software on the market it takes critical design cues from the workflow found in DJ software. LYRX snubs it’s nose at the status quo, disrupting what most believe karaoke software for MAC should be.
The browser is snappy, with instant search results whether your searching a library of 10 files or 500,000. You can also directly access directories on your hard drive or external, without a lengthy import process. You get full utilization of core audio, so latency when performing any in-app actions is minimal. The key lock and key stepping algorithm is top-notch, so even when making high-percentage changes to key the song will still sound sound crystal clear. It’s all packaged in a modern, yet simple interface that is easy to navigate for both seasoned pros and beginners.
You also have something not typically found in karaoke software — built in MIC support. Couple that with the recording feature and you can save your singing sets.
LYRX Karaoke Software For MAC is available today for only $39.95, making it one of the most affordable options for KJs and hard-core karaoke enthusiasts.

Did LYRX karaoke can remove vocals from a multiplex songs?
Hello Raul, not at this time but it’s high on our ‘to-do’ list for both LYRX and DEX 3 (full version).
Do you find your software runs better on a laptop or desktop? Will laptops stay cool enough with any of your software? Whether for pc or Mac.
Hello Mark,
It honestly shouldn’t make any difference whether it’s a desktop or laptop providing it meets the minimum requirements. Here they are:
OSX 10.7.5 or greater
2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / Core 2 Quad / Core i3/i5/i7
4 GIG RAM or Better
Video card: Dedicated Video Card or Intel 3000 series (or Iris) or better
200 MB free on the hard-drive
Laptops these days most certainly stay cool. I would venture to guess that 99% of all pro DJs and KJs using a computer are using laptops.
LYRX is ONLY for MAC, to be clear!
