LYRX 1.8.0.2 is ready for download! In our continuous effort to make the world’s best karaoke software, this free update for LYRX KJ’s is a maintenance release with the focus on squashing a few minor bugs.
LYRX 1.8 with a new and improved audio engine recently dropped. A few changes were introduced to the file browser in 1.8, including a cap on search results to help with massive large libraries (it’s not uncommon for LYRX customers to take out around 1-million tracks!). Unfortunately, a couple of the tweaks helped a couple of bugs to find their way in. Development has stocked up on RAID and needless to say, all good bugs don’t go to heaven…

Simply download and install from the buttons provided below with LYRX closed to update. Update and Fixed in LYRX 1.18.0.2
- Fixed Shaders not showing in certain cases
- Increased search results limit (for local tracks) from 100 to 10000
- Changed KSR (karaoke singer request system) track limit warning message (The updated dialog box message displays that you can add up to 100,000 total tracks to the KSR online songbook)
- Minor performance improvements and various optimizations
