Karaoke “NO-FLY” List: These singers don’t want you to sing their songs!

UPDATED 8-10-17 | Songwriters That Don’t Want You To Sing Their Songs in the United States of America

The karaoke “No-Fly” list is a real thing. These original Artists do not want you to sing their songs, and US law dictates that you need explicit permission from the artist to produce and sell their song in karaoke format. It’s a shame. It’s as if these Artists have really lost touch with what drew them to music in the first place and who made them who they are…why not let your fans honor with emulation? As they say, that’s the highest form of flattery…

The US and the UK are the only countries in the world with a copyright law that prevents karaoke companies from producing songs without special permission from the songwriter.
