🔧 New and Enhanced Features Overview

SLIP Mode

• Applies to loops, hot cues, scratching, reverse, and pause

Loops

• All loops now act as loop rolls
• Manual loop adjustment
  • Adjust left (in) or right (out) points or move the loop using a jog wheel
  • If your controller doesn’t have loop adjustment buttons:
    • Shift + Cue 1: Edit loop in point
    • Shift + Cue 2: Edit loop out point
    • Shift + Cue 3: Move the entire loop
  • Use the jog-wheel in search/move mode while holding Shift
  • On the UI, right-click the loop -/+ buttons to enable editing, then use the loop move buttons
• Fully manual loops – Disable quantize and control loop in/out manually
• Instant loops – Use pre-selected values for quick looping

Hot Cue Points

• Now act as momentary triggers (only active while pressed)

Scratch

• After scratching, the track resumes like nothing ever happened

Reverse

• Seamless reverse playback that picks up where it left off

Pause

• Now includes a realistic turntable-style stop effect

Quantize / Snap-to-Beat Mode

• Applies to:
  • Loop auto/manual
  • Cue placement
  • Track seeking
• Can be enabled per deck or globally

Time-Stretching and Pitch-Shifting

• Now powered by zplane’s Elastique for ultra-high-quality audio

🎛️ Performance Features

• Loop Rolls
• Slicer and Loop Slicer (fully quantized, including rolls)
• Pitch Play
• AIUnmixEQ – Isolate and manipulate stems (Instruments, Drums, Vocals)

📌 Markers

• Cue points and loops are now unified into a single “marker” system
• Markers can have custom colors and names
• Displayed on compatible controllers (e.g., RANE FOUR)
• Right-clicking no longer deletes markers—use the X or long-press (except in SLIP mode)

🌀 Turntable Effects

• Ideal for harmonic mixing

Audio Routing

• New options for Booth output and Record input
• Software send/return FX now supported for external mixers or hardware DSP controllers

Improved Audio Handling

• Cross-fading when looping or seeking is smoother than ever
• WASAPI improvements for audio resampling
• New setting: Show audio peak load instead of average CPU load to diagnose glitches, pops, and latency issues

Media File Support

• Now supports .webm video files
• Prevents screen and system from going to sleep during performance

SYNC Improvements

• “Always-in-sync” (sync-lock) is now disabled by default for new installs

Removed/Modified Settings

• Removed:
  • Brake feature (replaced by turntable-style stop)
  • “Use Slip mode for looping” (true SLIP mode now standard)
  • “Cutoff Filter Mode” (filter is now always LowPass & HighPass)
• Modified:
  • “Time-stretch quality” now offers:
    • Standard quality (fast)
    • Better quality
    • Best quality (slow)

🛠️ Miscellaneous Improvements

• Quantized seeking/snapping now aligns with 1-bar increments
• Beatsource/Beatport:
