DEX 3 White Out Skin For DJ Mixing Software

Download the user submitted ‘White Out’ skin for DEX 3, DEX 3 RE and DEX 3 LE DJ mixing software.

We’re entrenched in the dog days of summer. It’s hotter than an American setting a thermostat in Europe and often very bright outside.

Those of us that take on jobs where we have to DJ outside in the sunshine have to deal with screen glare – to the point even young eyes have issues making out buttons, sliders and knobs on the default skins (GUI) included with DEX 3, DEX 3 RE and DEX LE (Free DJ Software).

A DEX 3 DJ was dealing with those exact conditions during her weekly beach party gig on the Jersey Shore. She took it upon herself to edit the default DEX 3 RE skin, using a lighter color pallet that almost entirely negates screen glare issues.

The ‘White Out’ skin harkens back to the original RED Mobile (1.1) daytime skin and we’re sure it will prove useful on those outdoor gigs where your DJ computer is bathing in sunlight.

Anyone can edit the existing skin designs of any of our DJ mixing software products. You can make simple adjustments by opening up the skin files (located in the program folder) in any graphics editing application using hue and color to customize the skin. Or, you can build a new DJ software skin design from scratch and map it using our Free Skin Designer software.

Users can submit skins to the PCDJ community by emailing their finished design to Submit (@) PCDJ (Dot) Com.
