Mashing up your music video mix-set with acapellas and/or vocal elements allows you to create something completely new and exciting, remixing on-the-fly. The acapellas included for download with your The Video Pool subscription all come complete with album art and are BPM friendly too, so you can utilize beat-sync in DEX 3 to perfectly intertwine acepellas into your mix.
This past weekend I downloaded a few of the freshly added acapella music videos and incorporated them into a mix session. I found that they sounded great and lent themselves nicely to various looping techniques and blending in and out of the mix at various points. You can create some nice “rehash” opportunities in the mix with them – dropping the acapella back into the mix at a later point to offer your audience a nice easter-egg surprise.
You’ll see more acapellas added each week to The Video Pool. Here’s just a sampling of what’s currently available today:
- Breach – Jack (Acepella Loop)
- Ed Solo Ft Deekline., Splack Pack – Shake The Pressure (Acepella Loop)
- OMI – Cheerleader (Acapella)
- Andy Grammer – Honey, I’m Good (Acepella)
- Rihanna – American Oxygen (Acepella)
Whether your a DJ or VJ just getting into mixing music videos or a seasoned pro looking for ways to create a more unique video mix, The Video Pool has all the downloadable DJ tools, intros and acepellas to create tantalizing multimedia mixes that keep your audience begging for more!
