DJ Software Creators Digital 1 Audio Launch DEX 3.1

“DEX 3 is our best DJ software for DJs mixing all media types; music, music videos and karaoke” says Digital 1 Audio’s General Manager Ryan Sherr. “The new 3.1 update focuses on strengthening many of the core software features such as the media file browser and DJ controller engine” Sherr Continues “MAC users are especially going to enjoy the update, as true 64bit MAC support is now a reality.”

Will it be supported?
Thanks for all your doing!
Hello, and thank you! We haven’t received the “Spin Me” DJ controller from Behringer yet to map, but I’ll see if we can get one in to map soon!
Cool Beans….just thought it would work real good with the 4 deck capability and all. ready to switch up controllers and I thought this would be, as far as my use and purpose, would work well.
Does dex 3.1 have key change for karaoke?
Yes, even DEX 2 had this however, so it’s been a feature for some time! You need to engage high-quality time stretching in DEX 3’s options – make sure key lock is on for each deck, and you have key up and down arrows in each deck. You can adjust the steps from 1/4 to 1 full semitone steps in options under the general tab as well!
How do I change the background on the second display? I like to have my company logo up between singers or while DJ music is playing
This isn’t a feature, yet. Working on that, slideshows and additional effects and visualizations for DEX. Some will come in 3.2, which will be released in the next few weeks.
Hate to Interject but, what I have done was to create an actual Video (this can be done with Movie Maker) that uses my Logo, Other Video Clips, and things like that. So meanwhile, you don’t have an actual Stationary Background like in the Karaoki Program, but you can have an actual moving and Visual Background. I have even added MP3 music to my Video Clips that will play while the Video is playing in the Background. Really enhances the show. When you switch to the 4 decks, you can play ANY video clip and add any mp3 playing on the regular deck. Just Sayin.
