DEX 3 LE may be free DJ software, but it has all the essential features your need to rock any party. The DEX 3 LE skin and transport controls work just like traditional DJ equipment and include mixing controls found on physical DJ mixers.
You have dedicated buttons for hot cues, quantized automatic looping, effects, beat-sync, pitch-bend and more. Use the default 2-Deck skin or switch on-the-fly to “tablet mode” for touch-screen friendly mixing and scratching.
Media File Browser With Search, Playlists And Auto Mix
DEX 3 LE includes the same advanced file browser found in the full version of DEX 3, therefore managing and searching your tracks is painless. iTunes playlists are also automatically imported so you can get into the mix immediately.
The search-as-you-type feature will quickly locate the track/s your looking for, whether you have 10 tracks or 1 million in your library. Create custom playlists or generate lists from directories on your hard drive. Album art is displayed in the browser so makes it easier to find the song/s you’re looking for. “List Mode” allows for a more traditional excel-style layout. Playback automation is built right in; add tracks to the sidelist and engage Automix or Shuffle Play and take a break.
