Version 3.9.0.7 of DEX 3, the do-it-all DJ mixing software for today’s versatile DJ, is now available for download. The free update for DEX 3 customers removes Pulselocker (due to Pulselocker’s recent demise) and squashes a few pesky bugs.

Version 3.9.0.7 is considered a ‘maintenance release‘ and doesn’t introduce new features or feature changes. Fortunately a slew of new features, especially on the karaoke show hosting side of things, are in store for the next couple of feature-update releases of DEX 3.

A few performance improvements are also included in version 3.9.0.7 for the built in Party Tyme Karaoke subscription service and sound engine.

As with all DEX 3 mixing software updates version 3.9.0.7 is free of charge. All you need to do is download and install the update with your existing version closed and it will seamlessly patch right over top, leaving all your settings and playlists intact.

Keep a tab on the blog for forthcoming updates and as always we’ll email you when the next feature-update of DEX 3 is ready for download!

    Hi Ryan,
Compliments on your constant devotion to Dex3. I enjoy it very much and agree with Sinbads Music Factory. As a Professional Dj I got Dex3 in its early stages 3.3, some time ago for the VJ part of it and well
I’m still going strong for both Dj/Vj. I would like to be able to remove Party Time Karaoke like Pulselocker was in options and is since now gone in this last update, yes its a loss to our community. One more little suggestion, would it be possible to have a song be deleted from automix when its been manually loaded from there. If you don’t manually delete it will load it again. I’m used to it but it would be nice if its automatic. It just keeps getting better.

Thank you, Mary! We will have an option to ‘hide’ Party Tyme. You’ll be happy to know tha twe also plan to add a setting that will allow songs to be removed automatically from the sidelist when manually loaded. For now just click on the song and click DEL on your keyboard to instantly remove the selected song from the list (manually, as you said).
