DEX 3.17.1 is ready for download! The latest free update of our best DJ software includes support for Shoutcast broadcasting, new recording formats, and performance improvements.
Download DEX 3.17.1 below! In addition to existing Icecast2 streaming support, DJs will now be able to use Shoutcast supported servers to broadcast their mix online. Recording your mix to MP3, AAC, and FLAC formats is also supported in version 3.17.1.
Development also weeded out a few bugs, including an issue with larger TIDAL playlists. In addition, a few under-the-hood tweaks were performed to ensure better overall performance and stability.
DEX 3 DJs should install the new 3.17.1 release when possible. Download and install version 3.17.1 with your existing DEX 3 version closed to update now!
What’s New, Changed, and Fixed in DEX 3.17.1
- Added new broadcasting options: Shoutcast (MP3) and Icecast2 (MP3) in addition to the existing Icecast2 (OGG/Vorbis)
- Added audio mix recording to MP3/AAC/FLAC in addition to the existing WAV/AIFF
- Additional fixes for TIDAL playlists (getting all the tracks available in the playlist)
- Minor bug fixes and performance improvements
