DJ Controllers | Hercules DJControl JogVision Now DEX 3 Supported

The DJControl JogVision from Hercules is their most advanced DJ controller to date, and it’s now zero-configure with DEX 3.7.0.1 (and up)

While Hercules has primarily been known for entry-level or beginner DJ controllers, the DJControl JogVision is one serious bit of kit at an affordable price point (most sites list it online at only $299 USD).

Hercules has always offered some of the best quality audio interfaces in the business, which shouldn’t be a surprise as stand-alone audio interfaces was their primary business early on. Quality audio drivers and support for OS updates are always readily available. The DJControl JogVision combines Hercules’ quality audio interface support with a modern, advanced control surface complete with display read-outs at the center of each jog wheel.

 

 

Right away, when you fire the DJControl JogVision up you’ll be struck by it’s feature packed, albeit a little tight, control layout — and the jog wheel digital displays are a really nice touch. This unit easy separates itself from some of the workhorse Hercules DJ controllers of the past (such as the RMX and RMX2) – it’s a pro-level DJ controller DEX 3 DJ mixing software users should take into strong consideration.

All features found on the Hercules DJControl JogVision are DEX 3 supported, including the jog wheel displays, the beats ‘counter’, the effects controls, hot cue/loop pads and browser functions. While a challenge initially for our controller mapping team, particularly the display’s, it was worth the effort.  This is a great option for DEX 3 DJs whether mixing music or music videos.

The map for the DJControl JogVision is already included with DEX 3.7.0.1 (and up) – just install the drivers for the JogVision and launch DEX 3 and you’re ready to mix.
