If you’re a fan of Denon DJ, particularly the Denon DN-HC4500, this DEX 3 DJ Software Skin is for you.
Last week DJ Vargas submitted this Denon DN-HC4500 modeled skin complete with video preview displays for video mixing. He’s gone back to the drawing board and dumped the video previews in favor of more browser real-estate in this “audio only” Denon DJ skin.
DEX 3’s redesigned graphics engine supports user created skins utilizing our new and improved “PCDJ Skin Designer.” This allowed DEX 3 users to select a different skin and change the entire look and feel of the software through options. DEX 3 already comes equip with all new 4-Deck and 2-Deck default skins at all (high) resolutions, each with a re-designed video mixing tab (now with separate preview windows), effects grid tab and sampler tab.
Emiliano Vargas (DJ Vargas) “audio only” DENON DEX 3 (V6) skin is 1280 x 800 resolution, and modeled after the 19″ rackmount Denon DN-HC4500 DJ controller . Like Vargas’s previous Denon DJ skin entry, the new version features stacked waveform’s running horizontally across the top of the skin and rotating platters that resemble those included on the DN-HC4500.
