DJ Software and Karaoke Software designers Digital 1 Audio have raised the bar for Disc Jockey’s and venues with their DEX 3.11 all-in-one entertainment software update.

Digital 1 Audio, Inc (http://www.pcdj.com), pioneers of professional DJ, video mixing, and karaoke software products for DJs and karaoke hosts since 1998, launched version 3.11 of their flagship ‘Do Everything’ DEX 3 DJ software. The free upgrade rounds out the live performance software’s features that target the requirements of the new Mobile DJ, providing industry-leading value for it’s users.

Here are notable features and/or improvements included in DEX 3 version 3.11: 

• Added Visualizations (using ShaderToy.com shaders) – DJ can add new shaders from ShaderToy.com, rename, remove them, etc
• DJ can pre-adjust key / apply key change in the karaoke singer rotation list
• DJ can add tracks from History that have a singer name and key change to the karaoke rotation list (the saved Singer and Key change will be used)
• Added “Always show shaders on top of everything” setting (Video preferences tab)
• Automatically hide/show shader in case the deck does/doesn’t have video – DJ needs to select “0 singers” in the Karaoke preferences or have an audio-only track playing if they want to see the shader; or, can simply use the new “Always show shaders on top of everything” setting

DEX 3.11’s manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $179.

The optional in-app commercially legal Party Tyme Karaoke Subscription is free to try for 7 days and $99.99-a-month thereafter.
